What is an Endodontist?

Endodontists are dental specialists with an additional two or more years of specialized training beyond dental school. The average endodontist completes 25 root canal treatments a week, while general dentists do about two root canals a week.  Because they limit their practice solely to endodontic treatment, endodontists are efficient and precise. This equates to positive experiences and faster healing.  To learn more about Endodontics please visit the American Association of Endodontics or visit our services page.

In Canada, all endodontist must complete and pass board certification by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada to be licensed as specialists in Endodontics.

While most patients are referred to our office by a general dentist, patients can refer themselves.  Please contact our office to book an appointment with one of our periodontists or our endodontist.
